Hockey warmup songs and pregame playlist

Goal songs are eight seconds. Warmups are twenty minutes. This is the playlist that keeps a team moving through the skate-around, plus the tracks that fill intermissions and stoppages.

    Skate-around warmup songs

Steady tempo, big choruses, nothing that drags.

    Between-periods and stoppage music

    How to build the playlist

    • Order it by intensity: mid-tempo for stretching, hardest tracks for the last five minutes of warmups.
    • Keep every clip under 40 seconds in the Between Periods panel so you can cut cleanly at the whistle.
    • Save your goal songs separately — one per skater on the roster — so warmup music never overwrites them.
    • Test the volume at the rink before the first drop. Barn acoustics are nothing like your kitchen.

    Questions coaches ask

How long should a hockey warmup playlist be?

Plan for 20 minutes — roughly six to eight songs. Build it once in the Between Periods panel and it's ready for every game.
